When I started this business, I had no idea what kind of impact I would have on young women. I was a young woman myself, just 23, raising a small child on my own. Hard work wasn’t a choice; it was survival. And there were moments I could’ve given up, but I didn’t. What kept me going, then and now, has always been the women in my life. My sister. My best friend. The women who showed up when I didn’t have the words to ask for help. The ones who reminded me of who I was, and who I could become.

This Women’s Month, we’re honouring Soft Power, the quiet, resilient strength of women who lead, lift, care, create, build, and show up without hesitation. The ones who hold everything together, not for applause, but because it needs to be done.

Soft Power is the invisible force so many women carry. It’s the grace in the chaos, the way we show up even when we’re tired, the way we nurture teams, businesses, families, and friendships, all at once. And it’s not about slowing down. It’s about making space. Space to reconnect, to be seen, to breathe, to reset – with purpose.

As women in business, we have emotional intelligence that shapes our leadership style. We understand that in the workplace, people don’t show up as just employees. They show up as parents, partners, caregivers, and dreamers. And that means we lead differently. With empathy. With care. With power that’s not loud, but deeply felt.

I’ve felt what it’s like to walk into a room and think, I don’t belong here. Imposter syndrome doesn’t care how many years you’ve been in business or how many clients you have. It sneaks in. But what I’ve learned is that when we lift each other up, when we hold the door open and say, Come in, there’s space for you, we rewrite the narrative.

I’m here for the girls’ girls. For the women who know that when you support one woman, you create a ripple that impacts ten more in her orbit. I’m here for those of us who share our mistakes so that someone else doesn’t have to learn the hard way. For the women who reach out a hand, not just to pull someone up, but to walk with them.

At Sheer Bliss, I’ve watched women rise. I’ve seen them learn to drive for the first time, qualify in their trade, support their families through pure grit, and do it all with quiet determination and dignity. These stories aren’t always told, but they are the heartbeat of this business.

So this Women’s Month, when you book a massage with us to honour the women in your office, know this: you’re not just giving the gift of pause. You’re celebrating the women on our team, too — the ones who carry so much for so many, often without recognition, but always with strength.

Let’s honour Soft Power.
Let’s create space.
Let’s lead with presence, pause, support, softness, and solidarity.

Because when women rise, we all do.
